Wilson Automotive’s policy of “always promote from within” has created another Wilsonism: “We don’t hire great associates. We grow our own.” These four individuals are shining examples of that philosophy. Not only did they all begin their careers with our organization, they all started at one of the Right dealerships.
Brad Pringle, the new GSM at Toyota of Huntington Beach, is the most recent addition to the Wilson Automotive top management team. One month before his 18th birthday, Brad was hired at Scottsdale Honda (now known as Right Honda) to wash cars on Sundays. He then became the 2nd employee at the NEW Scottsdale Honda; and in May of 1998 became a salesperson and sold his first car. Since that time Brad has rapidly moved up through the ranks of the Right dealerships from IT manager to pre-owned manager to internet sales manager to finance manager to sales manager and now General Sales Manager. When Bob Miller, general manager of Toyota of Huntington Beach, decided to retire in December, Brad was tapped to make the move to California and take over the day-to-day responsibilities for that store. According to Jay Francis, who hired Brad and has worked with him for nearly 20 years, “Brad is the hardest working person I know. He has worked every job in the dealership and has been a tremendously valuable employee for nearly two decades.” Welcome to California, Brad.
Sierra Marthaler has worked part time in the business office of Right Toyota since she was 17. She did different jobs as required of her and helped on the special event staff. Last May Sierra graduated with an Associate’s degree from Paradise Valley Community College. Now 21, Sierra hopes to continue her education in criminal justice and become a detective.
Joseph Tenaglia, 24, is in his 5th week of officer training academy with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department. He joined the Right Toyota team when he was 17, working as a cashier, file clerk, special event staffer, and most recently as the social media coordinator at Right Honda. After graduating officers’ academy in April, Joseph hopes to complete his Master’s Degree at Arizona State University.
Jaden Burgess graduated from Paradise Valley Community College in May with his A.A. degree. He has worked at Right Toyota since he was 17 doing odd jobs and working on the special event staff. Now 21, he is employed full time as a porter in the service department while he continues to work toward his Bachelor’s Degree at Arizona State University.
We are proud of the accomplishments of these four associates, and the hundreds of others like them who come to work at our dealerships every day. Whether their ultimate goal is working at Wilson Automotive or elsewhere, we are proud to have given them their start and helped them launch their careers.
