January 22, 2018 (Las Vegas, Nevada) I wanted to share our Vegas Strong story for the newsletter. After the horrific shooting in Las Vegas on October 1st, our team was understandably shaken by the tragedy as this all happened so close to home. Many of us knew concert goers who ran for their lives, some of us have friends who were shot. We were left wondering how we could help those impacted the most deeply. Scott Redden received a phone call from a local TV station, Fox 5, asking if we’d be interested in partnering with them to sell #vegasstrong t-shirts with all proceeds going to the National Compassion Fund (created after 9/11), supporting the victims of the 1 October shooting. Scott jumped at the chance to come together with the community to show the world we are #VegasStrong. We sold 500 shirts, many purchased proudly by our own employees as you can see in the attached photos. Scott, Kimberly, and myself presented a check live on-air for $5,000. Fox 5 raised over $156,000 for 1 October victims during this fundraising campaign. Our city was shaken, but our spirit was not broken!
