For the third year in a row Toyota of Las Vegas teamed up with the American Lung Association for their “Scale the Strat” event. Associates form several Wilson dealerships took on the challenge of climbing the 108 floors and 1,455 steps of the Stratosphere. The fastest climber timed in at 7 minutes and 13 seconds. while the fastest firefighter timed in at 15 minutes and 30 seconds. With temperatures at an unusual low and winds picking up, climbers faced a much harder challenge than in years past. Luis Palafox was the fastest climber on the Toyota of Las Vegas team coming in with a time of 19 minutes and 22 seconds. The event raised just over $280,000 with Andrea Howell of Toyota of Las Vegas as the #1 fundraiser with a total of $5,704. In addition, Toyota of Las Vegas was the #1 fundraising team with a total of $10,290. Congratulations to our Toyota of Las Vegas employees on their strong dedication and effort!
